Learn more about Firetide at upcoming training sessions

2015-04-06 Firetide Training Sessions.jpgAre you interested in learning more about wireless mesh surveillance and about Firetide more generally? Do you want to know more about our patented AutoMesh protocol and our line of HotPort products more specifically? If you answered yes to these questions, then be sure to attend at least one of our upcoming Firetide Mesh Certificate Training (FMCT) and Firetide Certified Wireless Engineer (FCWE) courses over the next few weeks and months.

FMCT overview
Approximately once a month, we open our Campbell, California, headquarters to system integrators and resellers interested in learning moreabout our wireless systems, DFS and the Firetide Hotport Mesh product. Each course lasts three full days and covers everything you would need to know about Firetide’s product line and what is needed to configure, deploy and operate our solutions. While this course is not for beginners, it provides participants with everything they need to get a Firetide-based mesh solution up and running.

The next course starts on April 21. If you’re unable to make that one, then be sure to attend either the May 19 or June 16 training sessions. Each one offers an intimate learning environment, as only 12 students at a time are allowed. This way, you can be sure that you come out of the class with a thorough and complete understanding of the design and configuration challenges related to Firetide-related mesh product networks and how they can be resolved.

FCWE overview
At least once every quarter we here at Firetide provide FCWE training to those outside of North and South America too. Not only do these classes provide training and guidance on how to install and use Firetide technology, they also teach participants about RF theory and outdoor wireless networking more broadly. Part of the training is based in a classroom, but this is really only a very small part of the course as a whole. Approximately 80 percent of the time, course participants are outside working with their hands to set up and use a real outdoor wireless network. By the end of the multi-day course, those in attendance will have designed, installed and tested an outdoor wireless mesh network covering 500 meters.

There are currently two training sessions planned for the second quarter in 2015 – one for those in Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and one for the Asia-Pacific region. The next training session will take place from April 12 to 16 at the Gloria Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The next event after that will occur from May 18 to 22 at the Holiday Inn Pattaya in Thailand, which is located about 145 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.

For those unable to make the next two FCWE training sessions, fear not, as there will be more coming up in the third and fourth quarters of this year. The locations for the next events have not yet been released, but be sure to circle September 7 to 11 and November 16 to 20 on your calendars now.
