THE FIRETIDE BLOG

We Have Moved to a New Location

Jul 02, 2013

New Office Photo.jpgMoving a business is a bit trickier than moving a home. The pulse of the business can’t take a break for packing boxes, unplugging labs and rebooting a new training room.

At the same time, the emotions surrounding leaving your old home are very much the same. Firetide raised its family in an R&D center tucked away in a quiet corner of the valley. The 3000, 6000 and the venerable 7000 all came to life in our small home which served us well for many years.

But the increased interest in our mobility practice has required us to transition from an R&D facility to a full-service facility.  As an increasing number of new clients visit us on their way to the Monterey mobility test track., We new digs to better host these visiting envoys, as well as our channel partners.

We found that new home in the Silicon Valley town of Campbell.  With a modern training center and customer briefing area, we’ve expanded our customer and partner focus, creating a great environment for the exchange of ideas.

Like the story of the “elves and shoemaker” a dedicated team of employees worked nights and weekends so we could do a quick “reroute” over the weekend for a fresh start to Q3 at our new world HQ.

I want to thank the HQ move team for a flawless execution and finding a great new home. For our customers, please stop by on your next visit to the valley. We’re open for business.
