HotPort® Wireless Mesh Nodes

HotPort mesh nodes provide reliable Ethernet connectivity over a high-performance, self-forming wireless mesh backbone - indoors, outdoors, or onboard moving vehicles. All HotPort nodes have multiple Ethernet ports for connecting network devices or other networks to the wireless mesh.

Firetide's end-to-end solution includes HotPort nodes for mesh infrastructure, HotPoint® access points for wireless access, HotClient™ customer premises equipment for extended wireless client access, HotView™ software for a complete management system, Firetide Mobility Controller for mesh and client mobility, and Firetide WLAN Controller software for advanced wireless LAN management.

Please note that as of June 2010, HotPort 6000 functionality for fixed applications is supported within the HotPort 7000 product line. Please refer to HotPort 7000 product page . HotPort 6000 mesh nodes continue to be available for infrastructure mobility applications until Q4 2010.
