Firetide Multi-Service Mesh Network provides a high capacity wireless mesh backbone system for outdoor and indoor networks. Designed for maximum performance, scalability, mobility, and ease of deployment, the HotPort® mesh network works seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments and can operate in 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz or 5 GHz spectrums. The Firetide system includes HotPort® mesh nodes, HotPoint® access points, HotClientTM customer premises equipment (CPE) and HotViewTM Network Management System, Firetide Mobility Controller, and Firetide WLAN Controller. The combined solution enables multiple network services and standard Ethernet devices to be deployed virtually anywhere, creating secure and reliable wireless networks for video, voice and data:

Firetide IVS-100 is an integrated wireless video surveillance solution supporting public safety and commercial security applications. Incorporating a Firetide HotPort® wireless mesh node, IP camera or analog video camera with an encoder, and optional storage, the system is ideal for outdoor video surveillance applications. Designed for rapid deployment, IVS-100 delivers wireless connectivity, realtime video and edge-of-network storage in a single form factor. IVS-100 makes it easier for public safety agencies and commercial security integrators to deploy and manage video surveillance systems, putting this valuable security tool to use more quickly and cost-effectively.

HotViewTM and HotView ProTM Mesh Management Software
Each HotPort mesh node includes HotView management software for basic mesh configuration, monitoring and management. The optional HotView Pro mesh management software enables control of multiple mesh networks and larger mesh environments such as enterprise or metropolitan networks:

• The MeshBridge feature allows multiple mesh networks on different radio spectrums and channels to form a single LAN or WAN environment with up to 1,000 mesh nodes
• SNMP management allows network administrators to integrate management of HotPort mesh networks into a network management system such as HP OpenView or IBM NetView
• A Web-based client provides connection to the HotView Pro Server through a web browser, eliminating the need to run a separate client application.

Firetide Mobility Controller
The Firetide Mobility Controller is a software platform enabling advance wireless mesh backbone and Wi-F® access services. Working in concert with HotPort mesh nodes and HotPoint access points, the Firetide Mobility Controller delivers high speed infrastructure mobility, seamless client roaming, and a platform for future functionality. The controller software is hardware independent and runs on standard servers.

Firetide WLAN Controller
The FWC 2050 is an integral part of the Firetide Wi-Fi access solution, which includes HotPoint® access point, HotClient™ customer premises equipment, HotView Pro network management software and Firetide Mobility Controller for client and infrastructure mobility. The FWC 2050 brings in support for 802.11n standard and offers management of up to 50 access points. Building on its extensive experience with wireless mesh backhaul, where bandwidth is precious, Firetide designed its access solution to distribute intelligence at the edge, resulting in superior coverage and user experience with only a minimal amount of bandwidth taken up by critical control traffic to the centralized WLAN Controller.
